The Global Frontier Center for Multiscale Energy Systems in Seoul National University has been established in the fall of 2011 to pursue fundamental scientific research and develop break-through technology for realizing future Multiscale Energy Systems (future solar and fuel cells) that can compete with fossil fuel energy systems. The Center will be supported by the Korean Ministry of Education, Science and Technology up to 2020 with the annual research fund of approximately 10 million dollars.

Description:

For the research professor position we are seeking highly motivated, researchers with a PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related fields that will work within a multidisciplinary team to conduct fundamental research on fuel cells, electrochemistry, ion transport study or related pure scientific researches. The ideal candidate will have strong publication records and/or proven ability to undertake research independently.

For the Postdoctoral Researcher positions we are seeking highly motivated, researchers with a PhD in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, nanotechnology or related fields that will work within a multidisciplinary team to conduct fundamental research on solar cells including plasmonics, quantum dot solar cells, organic solar cells or multiple exciton generation, fuel cells, nano technology, nanotechnology related fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong publication records and/or proven ability to undertake research independently.
